Hailo digital_hub, a young company of the Joachim Loh Group, is shaping the future of waste management and developing smart, mobile solutions for digital waste management.

For the new mobile waste separation station equipped with sensors, the company was looking for particularly stable and flexible castors that would ensure effortless mobility and a high level of stability. The demands placed on a mobile waste station in modern facility management are high: with a total weight of around 200 kilograms, the castors must enable smooth mobility while also providing a high level of stability. Particularly demanding is the safety of the station when the containers are pulled out – here, a stable stand must prevent the station from tipping over or wobbling. In addition to the load-bearing capacity, the appearance also plays an important role: the waste station is used in office and commercial environments where design and quality are required.

In the standard programme, Hailo digital_hub took notice of the MOVE castor, which optimally meets all requirements. The housing is made of robust polyamide 6, which can withstand heavy use. The castors are equipped with a thermoplastic polyurethane tread that combines high load capacity and non-marking properties, so that no unwanted marks are left on the floor. Thanks to two sealed grooved ball bearings on both sides of the swivel head, the castors can be moved particularly smoothly, even at maximum load. The screw-on plate ensures a secure hold and simplifies installation at the waste station.
