GB – Spring-loaded castor series

Spring-loaded castors with Blickle Besthane® polyurethane tread and cast iron wheel centre

The tread of the GB series consists of the polyurethane Blickle Besthane®, which was developed in-house by Blickle. This has a hardness of 92 Shore A and is cast onto a wheel centre made of cast iron. The tread is hydrolysis-resistant and also offers a high dynamic load capacity and excellent levels of rolling resistance. Due to their rugged design, the wheels in the GB series are also suitable for higher speeds and load capacities. They are combined with the LSFN and LSFE brackets to create spring-loaded heavy duty castors, which can be used in conjunction with a variety of braking systems.

The series is frequently used for heavy duty applications on transport units and industrial trucks and is also used for tugger trains.

  • GB – Spring-loaded swivel castors with plate

    The wheels in the GB series are available in combination with the following spring-loaded swivel brackets:

    LSFN series: Heavy duty welded steel swivel castor with top plate fitting, with steel spring
    LSFE series: Heavy duty welded steel swivel castor with top plate fitting, with polyurethane spring

    Two different types of bracket are available for the spring-loaded fixed castors in the GB wheel series:

    BSFN series: Heavy duty welded steel fixed castor with top plate fitting, with steel spring
    BSFE series: Heavy duty welded steel fixed castor with top plate fitting, with polyurethane spring
